Nevermind the Snookis, we’ve got rezoning!  This linked Wall Street Journal article focuses on Newark Avenue’s “restaurant row” and the expansion in 2012.  Some big changes:

• Rezoning will expand the entertainment/food area into Jersey City Heights
• A new class of entertainment license will permit live music at restaurants

Tha tone of the article conveys the message that more than a few of us inhabitants can agree upon: Jersey City is quietly getting hipper, adding more restaurants by the season.
